I have been cycling in Finland and Aland for the purposes of writing an article for the Herald. Over at my blog , you can find the early postings of a selection of the photos. It was a fantastic trip organised with the help of the Finnish and Aland Tourist Boards. Thanks to them for all their help.
More words, photos and even a podcast will be appearing shortly so - watch this space. Once the Herald article is published - I will let you know.

Thanks for enlivening my journey from Dyce to Inverurie last Monday, it's a shame the conversation was limited to 12 minutes ... it made a refreshing change from Eddie Mair on my personal radio! I trust you didn't have to wait too long for a seat. I was intrigued as to whom I was chatting with, but my wife solved the problem on reading the article regarding the Rum Task Group in the P&J. I await with interest your article on cycling in Finland and promise that the Lewis-Barra ride will be done! Guess I'd better buy the book!
